Guelph Market

Not only as this new roof problem opened a whole new can of worms for vendors and staff, the long running feud been management and vendors that has been simmering for years is blowing wide open as well. Almost feels like it's a way for staff to get rid of vendors they don't like. When Greenfields left last week because of weariness with dealing with market staff, the last of the full range organic vegetable sellers went with them. Now it's all Ontario Food Terminal products, non-organic GMO, except for a few Mennonites with a small range of products. Can't really call it Farmer's market, since next to none of the vendors except the surviving meat and egg sellers. Even after the roof is fixed, the mismanagement of the market will continue, as city staff will continue to ignore complaints. Of course, the building itself is too narrow anyway, especially when people insist on bringing strollers and bundle buggies into the narrow aisles. Ah well, we'll see who survives.

Carden and Wyndham

Sitting in the cornerstone watching the corner being dug up for the third time in as many months.
You want to know who got stimulus money went ? Road crews, any and every job that guaranteed large amounts of oil consumption. Back hoe operators earing a hundred bucks an hour tearing up the same streets over and over. Apparently it's hydro now, who were ready eight weeks ago, except there were no plans. Sheizen.
